Nissan X-Trail Fog Light Adjustment
1. Place the vehicle on a flat horizontal platform perpendicular to the selected vertical surface. It must be fully loaded and complete. The distance from the surface to the center of the headlamp shall be 5 m.
Note:
Observing the same conditions, you can install a sheet of plywood measuring 2 × 1 m in front of the car.
2. Check and, if necessary, correct the air pressure in the tires.
3. If necessary, wash the headlights and wipe them dry.
4. Have an assistant sit in the driver's seat. If this is not possible, put in place a load of about 75 kg. Rock the car until the suspension adjusts itself.
5. Mark the screen on the wall as shown. Make the necessary measurements with a tape measure.
6. Turn on the fog lights and cover the left headlight with a piece of cardboard.
7. Nissan X-Trail fog lamps are adjusted through the holes in the mudguard of the engine compartment.
8. Take a 6mm hex wrench or a Phillips screwdriver with a long blade. Adjust the right fog lamp Nissan X-Trail. To do this, turn the adjusting screw by moving the screw in a vertical plane. Bring its upper horizontal border to line G.
9. Open the left headlight and close the right one. In the same way, check and, if necessary, adjust the position of the left fog lamp of the Nissan X-Trail.
Note:
If you cannot adjust the direction of the fog light beam, check the installation of the lamp and the headlight itself, and maybe the front bumper.
