Replacing bulbs in headlights Hyundai Santa Fe CM 2006-2012

Tools:

• Ratchet wrench
• Head 10 mm

Parts and consumables:

• High beam headlight lamp (lamp type H7, 55 W.) (18647-55007L) - 2 pcs.
• Low beam headlight lamp (lamp type H7, 55 W.) (18647-55007) - 2 pcs.
• Front side light bulb (lamp type H6W, 6 W.) (18641-06009) - 2 pcs.
• Front direction indicator lamp (lamp type PY21W 21 W.) (18642-21007N) - 2 pcs.
• Rags (if necessary)
• Alcohol (if necessary)

Note:

This article shows you how to replace Santa Fe lamps.

Warning:

In no case should you touch the glass of new halogen lamps with your fingers - the traces left will lead to quick burnout. You can clean the glass by wiping the lamp with alcohol.

Replacing the high beam headlight bulb:

1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the storage battery.

2. Turn the high beam lamp cover counterclockwise and remove the cover.

3. Disconnect the connector from the main beam bulb base.

4. Slide the lynch pin loop out of the groove on the reflector and fold the lynch pin.

5. The main beam lamp is removed by the metal tabs.

6. Install the lamp in the reverse order of removal.

Replacing the low beam headlight bulb:

1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.

2. Unscrew the low beam headlight bulb cover counterclockwise and remove the cover.

3. Disconnect the block of wires from the low beam lamp (shown on the removed lamp for clarity).

A place for connecting a block of wires.

4. Turn the lamp counterclockwise and remove the lamp.

5. Install the lamp in the reverse order of removal.

Replacing the front turn signal bulb:

1. Remove the negative terminal of the storage battery.

2. Turn the turn signal bulb counterclockwise.

3. Remove the turn signal bulb.

4. Remove the lamp from the socket.

Note:

If you cannot crawl to the turn signal lamp, you will have to remove the Santa Fe headlights.

5. Install the lamp in the reverse order of removal.

Replacing the side light bulb:

1.  Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.

2. Pull and disconnect the side light bulb socket (shown on the removed headlamp for clarity).

3. Turn the socket counterclockwise and remove the side light bulb socket.

4. Disconnect the side light bulb from the socket.

5. Install the lamp in the reverse order of removal.
