Replacing the fuel tank and its filling pipe Chery Tiggo

Note:

If you find a fuel leak in the tank, replace the tank, as it is molded from special plastic and cannot be repaired.

2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the storage battery.

3. Fold down the rear seat and remove the floor trim covering the sunroof at the base of the body above the fuel module.

4. Use a screwdriver to pry the hatch cover over the fuel tank.

5. Take her aside.

13. Disconnect it from the ventilation tube.

14. Disconnect the fuel vapor exhaust pipe to the adsorber by squeezing its clips located on the sides of the mount.

15. Remove the hoses from the holders located on the right side of the fuel tank.

16. Remove the four bolts securing the fuel tank.

Helpful advice:

Have a second person remove the fuel tank as it is rather heavy and its shape is not comfortable to hold.

18. Install the fuel tank in the reverse order of removal.

19. After connecting the pipes and the fuel pump harness, fill the tank with gasoline, start the engine and check the tightness of all pipe connections.

If you need to remove the fuel tank filler pipe Chery Tiggo, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the right rear wheel and place the vehicle on a secure base.
