Note:

Remove the sensor to check or replace it.

Removing the coolant temperature sensor Ford Focus 2

Drain some of the coolant from the engine.

Remove the ignition coil.

With the ignition off.

Pry off the spring clip with a screwdriver.

We take it out of the groove of the outlet pipe of the cooling system.

We take out the Ford Focus 2 coolant sensor from the outlet pipe.

By pressing the latch, disconnect the block of the wiring harness of the engine control system from the sensor.

Note:

The connection of the sensor with the outlet pipe is sealed with a rubber ring. If the ring is torn or has lost elasticity, replace it with a new one.

Install the coolant temperature sensor in reverse order.

Add coolant to the engine to the required level.
