Due to the fact that the door is quite heavy, it is advisable to carry out the work with an assistant.
The article describes the process of removing the front door. The back door is removed in the same way.
Removing doors on Ford Focus 2
1. Using the Torx T40 key, unscrew the screw securing the door opening limiter to the A-pillar.
2. Remove the restrictor.
3. Prying off the protective cover of the wiring harness blocks, remove it from the hole in the front pillar and turn off the wiring harness block.
4. We install a stand under the door at the level of the threshold. Using the “8” head, unscrew the bolts securing the axis of the upper and lower door hinges.
5. Raising the door so that the axles come out of the hinge holes, remove the door to the Ford Focus 2 and lower it onto the stand.
6. Install the front door in reverse order.
