Removing and installing Daewoo Sens oil pressure sensor

Tools:

  • Open-end wrench 10 mm
  • Box wrench curved 22 mm

Parts and consumables:

  • Oil pressure sensor MM111D-3810600 (if necessary)

  • Aerosol lubricant type WD-40 (if necessary)

Note:

The Daewoo Sens oil pressure sensor is installed on the main oil distribution channel in the middle of the cylinder block on the left side.
Remove the sensor for replacement when it fails, and also when oil begins to leak at the point where the sensor is attached to the cylinder block or through the sensor.

1.  Before removing the oil pressure sensor, disconnect the wire from the "minus" terminal of the battery.

2. Disconnect the wire block from the oil pressure sensor connector by pulling it along the axis of the block.

3.  Using a ring wrench, unscrew the sensor from the edges on the housing and remove it.

Note:

When unscrewing, do not apply too much force so that the sensor does not crumble, leaving the thread in the block.

4.  Install the new Sens oil sensor in the reverse order of removal.

Note:

The sensor may not be screwed all the way into the tide of the cylinder block. Therefore, screw in the sensor until a significant increase in force is required to screw it in.
