Removal and installation of a decorative casing of the Nissan Note 2004 - 2012 engine

Note:

A decorative plastic casing is installed on the motor. It reduces noise levels and improves the view of the engine compartment.

Often, this cover must be removed before performing repairs and maintenance on the engine.

Removing the decorative casing of the HR16DE engine Nissan Note 

1. The decorative casing is fixed to the inlet pipe with two bolts. Using a 10mm head, unscrew the 2 engine cover mounting bolts and remove them from the holes.

2. Pulling towards you, remove from the latches and remove the decorative cover of the Nissan Note engine.

3. Examine a condition of plugs of clamps. Replace torn and loose rubber bushings of clamps.

4. Install the decorative cover of the Nissan Note engine in place in the reverse order of removal.
