Removal and installation of ignition coils Ford Focus 3

On a 1.6L engine, do the following.
You will need a TORX T25 key.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Press the latch...

3. ... and disconnect the wiring harness block from the ignition coil.

4. Disconnect tips of high-voltage wires from the ignition coil.

5. Turn out four screws of fastening...

6. ... and remove the ignition coil.
7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE

Lubricate the high-voltage wire lugs with grease (such as petroleum jelly) before installation.​

On a 2L engine, perform the following operations.
You will need a key "for 10".​

1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the ignition coil.

2. Turn out a bolt of fastening...

3. ... and remove the ignition coil.
4. Similarly remove ignition coils of other cylinders.
5. Install the coils in the reverse order of removal.
