Removing and installing the air filter housing Nissan Qashqai 2007 - 2013

Tools:

• Nozzle on the crank 18 mm (with extension)
• Nozzle on the crank 10 mm (with extension)
• Collar for end nozzle
• pliers

Note:

The air filter housing is removed if it is damaged and to gain access to other units in the engine compartment.

1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.

2. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

3. Remove the air intake as described here .

4. After loosening the clamp, disconnect the air supply sleeve from the branch pipe of the air filter housing.

5. Press down on the wire harness connector.

6. Disconnect the block from the connector of the mass air flow sensor.

7. Snip the MAF harness clamp.

8. Cut the transmission breather hose clamp to the air filter bracket.

9. Turn away a nut of fastening of the case of the air filter.

10. Overcoming the resistance of the rubber bushings, remove the air filter housing.

11. Install the air filter in the reverse order of removal.
