Disconnect the “-” terminal from the battery, and then dismantle the “+” terminal. Disable decorative instrument panels and center floor section. 

Remove the instrument panel and glove box. On some vehicles, it is necessary to disable the passenger side airbag module. 

Remove the audio unit from the central area of ​​the instrument panel. Remove the air conditioning control panel, knee buffer and reinforcement plate. Loosen the steering column mounting bolts and lower the column.
    
Disconnect the instrument panel wiring connectors. Remove all fastening elements of the instrument panel. Slightly lift and remove the panel through the doorway on the driver's side.

Loosen the steering column mounting bolts and lower the column.

Disconnect the instrument panel wiring connectors. 

Remove all fastening elements of the instrument panel.
