You will need: a flat blade screwdriver, a 17 socket socket, a TORX T40 key, a wrench, an extension cord.
WARNINGS
Diagnostics and repair of electronic passive safety systems (SRS) require special equipment and tooling. In case of failure, contact a specialized service station.
To avoid injury from unauthorized operation of pyrotechnic charges, do not disassemble the system components yourself. However, when repairing the steering, electrical system and bodywork, the driver's airbag module may interfere with the work. If it is necessary to remove and install it, work can be carried out independently, strictly adhering to the rules for operating the system.
Disconnect the battery before starting work. Attempting to remove the airbag without turning off the power may cause the airbag to deploy unexpectedly.
It is possible to proceed with the following operations to remove the airbag only after the activator capacitor is completely discharged. To discharge the capacitor, after disconnecting the wire from the negative terminal of the battery, wait at least 10 seconds.
Do not disassemble the airbag module.
Do not drop the airbag module or allow water, grease or oil to come into contact with it.
Once removed from the vehicle, the airbag module must be stored on a flat, horizontal surface with the module facing up.
The airbag module must not be exposed to temperatures above 95°C. When installing the module in the steering wheel of a car, stay outside the airbag deployment area.
When you turn on the ignition for the first time after installing the airbag module in the vehicle, be outside the vehicle and turn on the ignition switch by reaching under the lower steering column cover.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

USEFUL TIPS
The steering wheel is very tightly fitted on the splines of the shaft, so do not completely unscrew the wheel fastening nut: in case of a sharp blow during removal, the steering wheel, jumping off the splines, may cause injury. You can secure the steering wheel from turning by using the locking mechanism of the anti-theft device of the ignition switch. To do this, remove the key from the ignition lock and turn the steering wheel until the shaft is fixed with an anti-theft device. After loosening the steering wheel nut, turn off the anti-theft device by inserting the key into the ignition switch, and return the steering wheel to the straight ahead position.

7. Knock the steering wheel off the splines of the shaft with sharp blows of the hands. Completely unscrew the nut and remove the steering wheel.
8. Establish a steering wheel and the dismantled details in an order, the return to removal.
