Removing and replacing the radio with a Volkswagen Polo

I won't say that the RCD30 is a bad radio if you don't listen loudly, but with the addition of volume, the sound changed not for the better.

Decided to start to change the radio to the Volkswagen Polo. Of course, I wanted to take 510, but the price tag is too biting. There was an idea to order from China, but abandoned this idea due to the lack of a guarantee.

After much deliberation, I decided to still buy a 2din radio. It is clear that it looks worse than regular, but the main criterion was the sound quality.
I chose between JVC KW-AV51EE and Pioneer avh-x1500dvd. The main advantages of JVC when choosing steel: removable panel, volume control, price. Yes, and on previous machines I put radio tape recorders from JVC and I really liked the sound quality. Therefore, I decided to take JVC.

Bought in addition a transitional frame and an adapter to the antenna.

For ease of dismantling, I purchased 12pcs Car Radio Door Clip Panel Trim Dash Audio Removal Pry Tool Kit Plastic. I advise you to buy a very useful tool.

Well, I started installing. I connected it via the iso connector that comes with the kit, I just had to swap the yellow and red wires. settings were not saved. I connected the Parking Brake wire to the radio body. I brought the USB connector into the glove compartment, so far I haven’t fixed it in any way, because. I did everything at work, then I will fix everything.

Well, what can I say. The sound has seriously changed for the better even with regular acoustics. Now there is no rattling when the volume is increased, the bass has become deeper and more elastic, the high frequencies have also increased.
The next step will be complete soundproofing and most likely replacing the acoustics with something more serious!
