Removing the front wiper arm Nissan X-Trail
1. Place the car on a level surface, and turn off the ignition.
2. Mark the position of the wiper blades in their original position, for example by gluing strips of paper.
Note:
This is necessary in order to ensure optimal operation of the brushes in the required area of the wind window after the levers are in place.
3. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the wiper arm cover.
4. Using a 14 mm socket, unscrew the nut securing the Nissan X-Trail wiper arm.
5. Shaking the wiper arm, remove it from the axis of the leash.
Note:
If the lever is very sour, you can use a special puller to remove it.
6. Examine a condition of the lever. If necessary, replace the Nissan X-Trail front wiper arm with a new one.
7. Remove dirt and rust from the trapezoid axle.
8. Install the wiper arm on the Nissan X-Trail in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the fastening nut to 24 N•m.
9. Similarly remove and replace the second lever.
Note:
When installing, make sure that the left brush is located at a distance of about 40 mm from the bottom edge of the glass, and the right brush is 34 mm (when viewed in the direction of the car).
