Rear lights on Nissan X-Trail
On Nissan X-Trail cars, combined rear lights are installed, in which there are 2 sections:
- brake signal / marker light;
- direction indicator.
Since 2011, LEDs have been used in the taillights for side light and brake light.
Note:
Before removing the rear light on the Nissan X-Trail, it is advisable to disconnect the negative battery terminal wire with a 10 mm wrench or socket.
Removing the rear light Nissan X-Trail
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.
2. Raise the trunk lid.
3. Using a 10 mm head, remove the 2 Nissan X-Trail rear light mounting bolts.
4. Place a rag under the bottom of the lamp.
5. Pull the lamp towards you and remove it from the 3 latches.
6. Turn counterclockwise and remove the Nissan X-Trail tail light bulb socket.
7. Turn counterclockwise and remove the rear brake/side light bulb socket.
8. Remove the Nissan X-Trail taillight.
9. If necessary, replace the car's rear light with a new one.
10. Install the rear light on the Nissan X-Trail in the reverse order of removal.
