Removing the lock and outside handle of the front door

Tools:

• Screwdriver flat medium
• Phillips screwdriver, medium
• Small hammer
• Electric screwdriver
• Drill bit 3 mm
• Star bit Torx T40 25 mm
• Socket head 25 mm

Description:

1. Remove the inner lining of the door. For more details, see the article Removing and installing the front door upholstery Fiat Doblo .

2. Remove the plastic plug, under which the outer bolt of the handle is located.

3. We make a hole in the outer screw for fastening the door handle for a 25 mm asterisk bit, with a 3 mm drill, 5-8 mm deep.

4. We insert an asterisk bit into the drilled hole and hammer it a little with a hammer into the resulting groove.

5. We insert the 25 mm socket into the 25 mm star bit, and unscrew the outer bolt securing the handle.

6. Gently release the lock of the braid of the pull rod of the inner door opening handle.

7. We release the plastic lock of the thrust and remove the thrust from the lock.

8. Prying from the bottom with your fingers, disconnect the lock connector.

9. We unscrew 3 bolts under the asterisk from the end of the door and remove the lock from the door.

10. We assemble in the reverse order of removal.
