Installation of piston rings of the engine model 1MZ-FE Toyota Camry 2001 - 2006

• Tool for removing and installing piston rings (expander)

Note:

Disassembly of the connecting rod and piston group of the 1MZ-FE engine is described here .

1. Install the expander and two oil ring expanders. Using a piston ring expander, install two compression rings, with the ring marks facing up.

2. Install the piston rings in the grooves so that their locks are located as shown in the figure.
