Installing the ignition distributor Mercedes-Benz W203

PROCEDURE

1. Put the piston of the 1st cylinder (counting from the side of the timing mechanism drive) to the TDC position, aligning the marks on the crankshaft pulley and on the cylinder block.

2. Insert the ignition distributor into the mounting bracket, directing the distributor rotor so that the marks on the rotor and distributor housing match.

3. Install the ignition distributor cap and connect the spark plug wires.
