Installation of the central lock in the right forward door.

Let my example serve as a good guide to action and save you from unnecessary mistakes. I'll update this thread as orders come in.
Gradually, I begin finalizing the implementation of the following project:
namely, to install a handle with a central locking button on the right passenger door.
In this project, there is a practical side to the issue for me, I often leave a passenger (relatives, relatives) in the car and ask it to be closed using the driver's door central locking button.
Looking at these movements and inclinations of the body)) and the availability of material for installing this "option" in the older brothers of the VAG, I wanted to realize my plan. Only I haven’t seen this installer yet on FPS…
So, what is required for installation:

1. The handle itself (right) for the central lock button: 6R0 867 180 J TLL.
in Russia they are not available, ordered, wait from Germany - 1 month, took from the dealer, 900 rubles came out at a discount.

Here it is in the package, came in 2 weeks.

CAUTION: The door handle (right) for the central locking button, or as it is also called the right armrest, has two numbers, if you look at ETKA ...
This option is no longer available: 6RG 867 180 GUAQ!

2. Connector for connecting the central locking button, price 25 rubles.

The chip for connecting to the central lock button is 1K0 972 704 G.

3. Wire for connecting to door connectors (those in rubber corrugation):
000 979 025 E in the amount of 2 pcs, the price flies for 500 rubles. In the Russian Federation, it is problematic to select pins for these wires. I had to buy, feng shui requires sacrifice.

4. Wire 000 979 009 E in the amount of 2 pcs. or pins N 907 647 01 in the amount of 4 pcs, for the chip for connecting the central locking button.

5. Shaggy ribbon 000 979 950, 320 rubles.

6. Clip-on earrings (just in case, if fate orders) 7L6 868 243, 20 rubles / 1 pc.

7. Central lock button for the right door: 6R2 962 125 AREH, 1570 rubles at a discount from OD.

8. Pins of the "PAPA" type: N 103 360 05, 3 pieces, price 18 rubles / piece. or wire 000 979 020 E, 2 pieces, price 170 rubles per piece.
9. Wire, section 0.5 mm2.
At your choice, you can buy the original "yellow", 10 meters, the price will be fun - 600-700 rubles. I took the usual one for 2 wires, an audio cable, copper.
10. Right door handle cover: 6R0 867 172 K 82V, 600 rubles, they are not available in the Russian Federation, you will have to order and wait at least two weeks.

Looking at the branches about the Jetta and Tiguan, I saw how some Drayvovchane are finalizing their cars with this device. There, alas, there is another story that is significantly different from what we manage.
In the Polo, the installation cost budget will be more expensive than the Jetta and Tiguan.
According to conservative estimates, about 4500 rubles, but the idea is worth it!

The first thing we started work with was to study the connection diagram.

Next, we disassembled the left handle, it often happens that the color versions of the wires do not match the designation on the diagram. And today it is no exception.
Called and what happens...

We check the wires on the handle, everything is as it should be.

pin 1 (block E308) is a button control (in our case, a brown-white wire).
pin 2 (block E308) is the backlight of the button (gray wire).
pin 3 (block E308) is the backlight of the button (brown-green wire).
pin 4 (block E308) is ground, it makes no sense to pull the wire, because it can be taken from the right door.

We remove the trim with the hood opening handle, find the door connector harness, unwind it, find the necessary wires, rang ...

We remove the door card and remove the handle, it is fastened on top with plastic latches, and on the bottom with one self-tapping screw.

After removing the card, you need to get the door connector harness for wiring. We'll have to drill out the riveting of the speaker.

We removed the tourniquet from the door, unwind it.

The door connector of the right door of the mother type has a lot of free pins in it, we did not stick to the numbering of the pins as on the driver's door, according to the wiring diagram. Simply, we chose the most convenient empty pins (in the lower corner). We drive the wires, increase the length, heat shrink ... We lead them to the chip for connecting the central locking button.

Everything is clear here...

And here is the same ... Do not forget about the connection diagram, check. We also take the mass for the central locking button from this door (brown wire) of your choice ...

Next, we need pins like dad No. 103 360 05 or wire 000 979 020 E (ordinary aluminum, price 170 rubles apiece) or wire 000 979 020 EA (gold-plated contacts). Soldering, heat shrink, calculated the length of the wires that will have to be laid along the bottom of the cabin from the left door to the right.

Well, accordingly, we drive the dad pins, according to the location of the mom pins on the counterpart of the door connector.

The finished chain, it is felt that the finish line will soon be) We stretch the wiring along the bottom from right to left.

We connect and test the finished chain. Next, put the speaker on new rivets. We connect all the chips of the door.

We collect the door card in its original form. Everything is ready. The matter remains, only, behind the casing - well, that will be another story ... The only thing that I changed was the wiring, I didn’t run it from the bottom of the handle, but did it from above, there is also a hole there.

Today I received the right door cover for the front passenger, I waited 2 weeks. I was very afraid that the part number that was chosen would again (for the second time, in the entire history of the project) fail.
This time, everything is clear.

IMPORTANT! The quality of the plastic of the handle covers from the sedan and the hatch is slightly distinguishable, the hatch is better, and the price is 6 times more expensive.
I cover the handles with an aquaprint and it won’t be noticeable at all, but for those who want to leave everything as it is, then if you don’t specifically look closely, you won’t notice.
