Where is the brake pedal sensor located on a Nissan X-Trail

On a car with automatic transmission, the brake pedal position sensor is integrated into one unit with the brake light switch. When the switch stem is recessed, the contacts of the switch and the sensor are open, and when the stem is extended, the contacts are closed.

The brake pedal position sensor on the Nissan X-Trail is installed under the instrument panel on the pedal assembly bracket.
