Nissan X-Trail wheel replacement
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.
2. Remove the Nissan X-Trail spare tire.
Note:
Take the tools for changing the wheel in the left luggage compartment.
3. Lock the vehicle with the parking brake.
4. Install chocks on both sides under the wheel located diagonally from the one being replaced.
5. Use a 21mm Allen wrench or socket to loosen all of the Nissan X-Trail wheel nuts by about half a turn.
6. Install a jack in a specially designated place. The lower support platform of the jack must be strictly under the upper stop.
7. Slowly raise the vehicle until the wheel to be changed is 2-3 cm from the ground.
8. If the wheel on the Nissan X-Trail is removed during repair work, install a support stand under the power elements of the body and lower it onto its car.
9. Finally turn away nuts of fastening, and remove a wheel.
10. Replace the wheel on the Nissan X-Trail with a new one.
11. Clean the mounting surface of the hub and install a new wheel on the hub.
12. While holding the wheel from rotation, tighten the wheel nuts in the sequence shown.
13. Slowly lower the vehicle until the wheel touches the ground completely, and finally tighten the nuts to 108 N•m.
14. Check the wheel tire pressure. If necessary, bring it up to standard.
