Replacing license plate lamps Citroen Berlingo II 2013

Notes:

On the Citroen Berlingo, lamp replacement is carried out only with the ignition off or with the battery disconnected.

The left and right license plate lamps are replaced in the same way.

For replacement, use a new lamp of the same power and color.

Do not touch the glass bulb of the new bulb with your fingers. The grease remaining on the glass evaporates when the lamp is heated and settles on the reflector, the surface of which tarnishes.

Two license plate lamps are located on the luggage compartment lid.

1. Open and lift the tailgate.

2.  Remove from clips an internal upholstery of a cover of a luggage carrier.

3. After removing the upholstery, the location of the two electrical connectors connected to the license plate lights became visible.

4.  Wring out a screw-driver a clamp of an electric socket. 

5. Disconnect the light Citroen Berlingo 2 from the electrical connector.

6.  To remove the lamp, press on both sides of its latches.

7. Pull towards you and pull out the Citroen Berlingo 2 light.

8.  To access the light bulb, insert a flathead screwdriver between the clear plastic and the light housing.

9. Remove the lens diffuser.

10. Turn the bulb counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.

11. Replace the lamp with a new one.

12.  Replace the lamp holder and connect the electrical connector.

13.  Reinstall the upholstery.
