Replacing a light bulb in the trunk of Mazda 3 (VK) 2003 - 2009 (sedan body)

Parts and consumables:

• Cloth gloves
• rags
• Alcohol
• Original bulb W5W (12V/5W)  Mazda 9970-LL-W5W  or  Mazda 9970-16-050

Note:

Do not replace xenon lamps yourself!

Do not touch the bulb with your hands! Since the halogen bulb gets hot enough, touch marks can cause the bulb to darken or explode.

It is recommended to take the Mazda 3 trunk light by the bulb with a clean rag or gloves.

If there are greasy stains on the flask, remove them with alcohol.

Place the burnt out light bulb in the new bulb box and dispose of it in a place out of the reach of people.

To replace a light bulb in the trunk of a Mazda 3, do the following:

Before replacing the light bulb in the Mazda 3 trunk, be sure to disconnect the wire from the "negative" terminal of the battery.

1.  Raise the trunk lid.

2.  Wring out two lateral fastenings of a plafond, take it out of fastening and disconnect it from a back shelf.

3.  Pulling towards you, remove the burnt out light bulb from the socket. 

4.  Replace the Mazda 3 trunk bulb with a working one and install the backlight cover.
