Replacement steering wheel for Honda Civic
1. Use a 14 mm socket to loosen the steering wheel mounting bolt.

Note:
The steering wheel is very tightly fitted on the splines of the shaft, so do not completely unscrew the wheel bolt: with a sharp blow during removal, the steering wheel on the Honda Civic can come off the splines and cause injury.
2. To facilitate the reverse installation of the steering wheel, mark the position of the steering wheel hub relative to the shaft by completely unscrewing the bolt (there is a mark on the steering wheel hub under it). Put a mark on the end of the shaft, for example with a marker, and then again screw the bolt into the shaft by hand a few turns.

3. With sharp blows of the hands, knock the Honda Civic steering wheel off the splines of the shaft.
4. Finally turn out a bolt.

5. Remove the steering wheel.

6. Replace Honda Civic steering wheel with a new one.

7. Install the steering wheel and airbag in the reverse order of removal.

Warning:
When installing the module in the steering wheel of a Honda Civic, stay out of the airbag deployment area.
8. After installing the airbag, check the operation of the system: reach under the steering column and turn the ignition key to the ON (II) position. The SRS indicator should come on for about 6 seconds and then turn off.
9. Check the operation of the horn.
