Note:

The cabin filter is designed to purify the air that enters the car interior, and as the filter becomes dirty, the air flow deteriorates. A clogged filter can cause the windows to fog up during air conditioning operation.

According to routine maintenance, the replacement of the cabin filter on the Nissan X-Trail is carried out after 30 thousand kilometers or every 2 years (whichever comes first).

Even if the quality of the filter element itself is high enough, particles of debris and dust will inevitably penetrate the combustion chamber and reduce the ignition efficiency.

Where is the Nissan X-Trail cabin air filter located?

The filter is installed behind the center console, under the instrument panel, and is covered with a cover.
