Note:

The fuel in the power supply system is under high pressure and it is forbidden to loosen the fuel line connections while the engine is running or immediately after it has stopped . Therefore, before changing the fuel filter on the Nissan X-Trail,  you will first need to  reduce the pressure in the power system.  Also, to access it,  remove the air duct and rear seats.

Where is the Nissan X-Trail fuel filter located?

The fuel filter is installed in the fuel module. The fuel module is located in the fuel tank and is secured with a pressure ring. Access to the module can be obtained through a special hatch located under the rear seat cushion. The hatch is closed with a steel cover.
