1. Park the vehicle on level ground, allow the engine to cool, and open the hood. The oil filler cap of the Opel Astra G is located on the cylinder head on the right side.
2. Turn the oil filler cap counterclockwise and remove it.
3. Remove the old Opel Astra G gasket from the inside of the engine oil filler cap.
4. Remove the old O-ring Opel Astra G from the inside of the engine oil filler cap.
5. Clean the cover and seats of the O-ring and gasket from oil, dust and other contaminants. Replace the O-ring and gasket with new ones and put them back on the engine oil filler cap.
6. Clean the oil filler neck of the Opel Astra G from dust and oil residues.
7. Replace and tighten the oil filler cap tightly.
