Ford Focus 3 rear light replacement

THE NOTE
Operations on removal and installation are shown on the left lantern. The right lamp is removed and installed in the same way.

You will need a flat blade screwdriver.
On a hatchback vehicle, perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

In the luggage compartment on the side of the light to be removed, remove the cover in the side trim of the luggage compartment.

3. Turn away two nuts-lambs of fastening of a back lantern to a car body.

4. Pull back and, overcoming the force of the clamps, disconnect the lamp from the body, move the lamp to the length of the attached wiring harness.

5. Squeeze the pad retainer...

6. ... and disconnect the rear light harness connectors.

7. Remove the rear light from the vehicle.
8. Install the lantern and all parts in the reverse order of removal.
On sedan-type vehicles, to remove the fender-mounted section in the luggage compartment on the side of the lamp being removed, remove the cover in the rear luggage compartment trim.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

NOTE

On Ford Focus III sedan and station wagons, the rear light is divided into two sections.

2. Turn away two nuts-lambs fastening of section of a lantern to a car body.
3. Move the light section away from the body to the length of the attached wire harness, overcoming the force of the clamps.
4. Separate pads of a plait of wires and remove the section of a back lantern established on a wing.

5. Remove the lining of the trunk lid, unscrew the wing nut and squeeze out the two fasteners of the rear light section mounted on the trunk lid.
6. Move the lamp section away from the body by the length of the attached wiring harness.
7. Separate pads of a plait of wires of section of a back lantern and remove section from the car.
8. Install the lantern and all parts in the reverse order of removal.
On vehicles with a station wagon body type, to remove the fender-mounted section in the luggage compartment on the side of the light being removed, remove the cover in the rear luggage compartment trim.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.
2. Turn away two nuts-lambs fastening of section of a lantern to a car body.
3. Move the light section away from the body to the length of the attached wire harness, overcoming the force of the clamps.
4. Separate pads of a plait of wires and remove the section of a back lantern established on a wing.
5. Remove the lining of the tailgate, unscrew the wing nut and wring out the two retainers for fastening the rear light section mounted on the tailgate.
6. Move the lamp section away from the body by the length of the attached wiring harness.
7. Separate pads of a plait of wires of section of a back lantern and remove section from the car.
8. Install the lantern and all parts in the reverse order of removal.
