Procedure

1. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the protective boot from the lower arm ball joint.

2. Use a plastic mallet to tap the ball joint out of the lower arm.

Knock out the Hyundai Matrix ball

3. Using the special tool (09545-11000), press the new ball joint into the lower arm assembly.

4. Use the special tool (09545-21000) to install the protective boot.
