To control the sunroof, use the switches that are located next to the personal lighting.

Note:

The sunroof works when the ignition switch is in the "ON" position.

The sun visor can be opened or closed manually.

Operation with the key removed

If both front doors are closed, the electric sunroof will operate for approximately 43 seconds even after the ignition switch is turned off. When any door is opened, it turns off.

Shift operation

To open:

Press the switch and hold it for 1 s. from the "SLIDE OPEN" side. The sunroof will fully open automatically. To stop sunroof movement, briefly press the switch on the SLIDE OPEN or TILT UP side. The sun visor will be open along with the electric sunroof.

To close:

Press and hold the switch for 1 s. on the "TILT UP" side. The electric sunroof will close automatically. To stop sunroof movement, briefly press the switch on the SLIDE OPEN or TILT UP side.

Flip up operation:

Press and hold the switch for 1 s. on the "TILT UP" side. The electric sunroof will open fully up automatically. To stop the sunroof in the direction of travel, quickly press the switch on the SLIDE OPEN or TILT UP side.

Anti-pinch function

If an obstacle appears between the sunroof and the frame when lowering the sunroof, as well as when closing after turning off the ignition switch, the sunroof will stop.

Note:

If there is a strong impact on the sunroof, this function may work even if nothing is pinched.

If the battery is disconnected or discharged, the sunroof may not function automatically and the anti-pinch function will not work properly after you reconnect, replace or recharge the battery. In any of these cases, you should bring the sunroof to its normal position.

To bring the sunroof to its normal position, press and hold the power sunroof switch on the TILT UP side until the sunroof is fully tilted up and then automatically lowers slightly.

To avoid serious injury, please observe the following:

1. While the vehicle is in motion, always make sure that all passengers keep their heads, hands and other parts of the body away from the opening of the electric sunroof. Otherwise, they may be seriously injured if the vehicle suddenly stops or has an accident.

2. Before closing the sunroof, make sure that no one is in dangerous proximity to the sunroof. Make sure that no one puts their head, hands, or other parts of the body into the opening of the electric sunroof. If someone's neck, head or hands are caught in the closing electric sunroof, serious injury could result. When someone closes an electric sunroof, the first thing to do is to make sure it is safe.
