Tool:

  • Wheel alignment stand
  • Open-end wrench 14 mm

Note: Checking and adjusting the wheel alignment is necessary to ensure good vehicle stability and handling, as well as uniform tire wear during operation. Checking and adjusting the angles of the wheels is carried out on special stands according to the instructions for their operation. The discrepancy between the actual values measured on the vehicle and the reference values indicated below is due to wear and deformation of the suspension parts or deformation of the body.

After installing the car on the stand (just before checking the corners), "squeeze" the car's suspension, applying two or three times a force directed from top to bottom, first to the rear bumper, and then to the front. The wheels of the vehicle must be parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

Important: Replacing or repairing suspension parts may result in a change in wheel alignment, so checking wheel alignment is a must.

When checking and adjusting the front wheel alignment, first check the caster angle, then the camber angle, and lastly the toe-in.

Note:

Standard 0

In this variant of the conditions, the car must be completely unloaded, the spare wheel, tools, accessories and technical fluids remain in it. The fuel tank contains 5 liters of fuel.

Standard A

In this scenario, the vehicle must be completely unloaded, leaving the spare wheel, tools and accessories in the vehicle. The fuel tank is full.
