Liquid level check
PROCEDURE
- The fluid level in an automatic transmission is measured with the engine and transmission warmed up. To warm up the power unit to the required temperature, you can make a short (15 kilometers) trip.
- Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the handbrake securely. Place jack stands under the wheels to secure the vehicle.
- Start the engine and let it run at idle. Depress the brake pedal and carefully move the selector from position P to position 1, then back to P.

- Unscrew the filler plug on the left side of the gearbox (arrow in the accompanying illustration).
