1. Using a 10 wrench, unscrew the bolts securing the rear arch lining.
2. Turn off bolts of fastening of a mudguard under a wing of the car.
3. Remove the plastic extension of the rear door arch. To do this, you need to unfasten the three latches that secure it to the bumper.

4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the upper and lower bumper mounting clips.
5. Carefully, so as not to break the jumpers, pull off the edges of the bumper from the plastic fasteners and repeat the procedure on the back of the car.
6. Turn off 4 bolts of fastening of a bumper to a body and 4 bolts of fastening of rubber dampers.
The location of the bumper mounting bolts to the body and the damper mounting bolts (green marks are the damper mounting bolts, the red marks are the bumper mounting bolts to the body). The bottom two pointers on the bottom of the bumper show the approximate location of the bumper clips, which are removed in the next step.
7. Remove 2 clips located at the bottom of the bumper.
8. Partially remove the bumper and disconnect the rear bumper harness connector, completely remove the bumper.
9. The rear bumper is installed on the Mitsubishi Outlander in the reverse order of removal.
