Note:
Removal of the door trim may be required to replace door components such as the lock, glass, opening limiter, power window or speaker. Also for the repair of the door itself.
Before removing the trim on the rear door of the Nissan X-Trail, it is advisable to disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal with a 10 mm wrench.

Removing the rear door trim Nissan X-Trail
1. Place the car on a level surface, and turn off the ignition.

2. Open the back door.

3. Gently pry the power window control button with a flat screwdriver or a plastic spatula (wrap a rag around the flat screwdriver).

4. Remove from the latches and pull the control key from the rear door trim of the Nissan X-Trail.
5. Wring out a clamp and disconnect a block from a key.

6. Using a flathead screwdriver or spatula, carefully pry the door trim trim over the special groove.

7. Remove from 9 holders and remove the pad.

8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 2 screws securing the Nissan X-Trail rear door trim.

9. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the plug.

10. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the trim fastening screw on the inside door opening handle.

11. Pull the rear door trim of the Nissan X-Trail towards you by the lower edge and remove it from the 7 holders (if necessary, pry the trim with a flat screwdriver, placing a rag under it).

12. Move the trim aside.

13. From the inside, disconnect 2 cables from the handle.

14. Remove the Nissan X-Trail tailgate trim.

15. Check up a condition of holders of a covering.

16. Replace damaged holders with new ones.

17. Install the rear door trim on the Nissan X-Trail in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that all holders are firmly fixed in the holes.
