Note:

To avoid air locks, pour antifreeze into the Nissan X-Trail radiator very slowly (filling speed should not exceed 2 liters per minute).

12.  Close the radiator cap tightly.

Note:

When the engine is running, the cooling system is under pressure, so coolant may leak from under a loosely wrapped plug or the plug may be torn off.

13.  Add antifreeze to the expansion tank up to the “MAX” mark.

Note:

Do not fill the fluid reservoir above the MAX mark, as the volume will increase when the engine is running.

14.  Tightly wrap the reservoir lid. If antifreeze is spilled on wires, painted or plastic body parts, wipe them off immediately with a clean rag.

15.  Warm up the engine to operating temperature (electric fans should turn on at least 2 times) and stop. When the engine is cool, check the level of antifreeze in the expansion tank. If necessary, bring it up to standard.
