Notes:

Never drive with the parking lights on only - danger of an accident! The side lights of the Skoda Octavia Tour are not bright enough to adequately illuminate the road in front of the car, and for other road users to notice you. Therefore, in the dark and in poor visibility, always turn on the dipped headlights of the Skoda Octavia Tour.

When the car is parked for a long time, it is recommended to turn off the parking lights.

In the event of a malfunction at the light switch, the dipped beam headlights automatically light up.

The outdoor lighting control unit is located in the passenger compartment on the left side of the driver.

IV  - by moving the handle in the axial direction towards itself from position III to the second click ( B ), the rear fog lights are additionally switched  on (an indicator lights up in the instrument cluster).

Note:

If the rear fog lamp is switched on when operating with a trailer hitched to the vehicle via a factory-fitted tow hitch, the rear fog lamp on the trailer only illuminates.

By turning the knob of the headlight corrector adjuster, the angle of inclination of the headlight beam is changed (depending on the vehicle load) in such a way as to prevent dazzling of oncoming drivers.

Alignment of the mark on the regulator knob and the number on the scale ensures the appropriate adjustment of the position of the headlights for the following vehicle loading options:

"-" - the front seats are occupied, the trunk is empty;

1 - all seats are occupied, the trunk is empty;

2 - all seats are occupied, the trunk is fully loaded. Operation with a trailer with a small load on the coupling device;

3 - only the driver's seat is occupied, the trunk is fully loaded. Operation with a trailer at maximum load on the hitch;
