Installing the alternator bracket with a tension roller Lada Granta

Tools:

• Collar sweat butt cap
• Nozzle on the collar 13 mm
• Nozzle on the collar 17 mm

Note:

To extend the life of the bearings of the Lada Grant generator, buy a bracket with a screw tensioner from Lada Kalina. At the same time, after such refinement, the warranty is terminated, as this is regarded as an independent change in design.

1. Order a bushing for the alternator drive belt tensioner from the turner according to the drawings shown in the first photo below.

2.  Order from the turner a bushing with the dimensions indicated in the first photo below for the swivel bracket of the tension roller.

3. You also need to machine two bushings on the brackets for fastening the generator belt tensioner mechanism according to the drawings shown in the first photo below.

4. Check for a spacer in the lower left arm of the alternator.

5. Assemble the generator bracket.
