Notes:
Brake discs must be replaced in pairs (immediately on the right and left wheels).
Replacing the brake discs on the rear and front wheels occurs in the same order.
1. Loosen the nuts on the wheel bolts on the side of the disc being replaced and hang the wheel up.
Warning:
Before lifting the vehicle, place chocks (chocks) under the wheels on the opposite side. Operate the vehicle only on secure factory jack stands.
2. Fully unscrew the wheel nuts and remove it.
3. Loosen the bolts securing the brake shoe guide to the steering knuckle.
4. Remove the brake caliper assembly as described here .
Warning:
Do not disconnect the brake hose. Hang the caliper with a piece of wire on the suspension elements. It is important that the brake hose is not kinked or strained.
5. Turn out the screw of fastening of a brake disk to a nave.
Useful advice:
During this operation, it is convenient to keep the hub from turning with a mounting spatula, placing it between the wheel bolts.
6. Remove the brake disc.
7. Installing a new brake disc occurs in the reverse order of removal.
Notes:
Before installation, it is important to clean all mating surfaces.
In the case of installing an old disk, it is necessary to remove the shoulders from the working surfaces that were formed during the wear of the disk.
8. After installing the caliper, press the brake pedal to the stop several times so that the pads are installed in the working position.
