Replacing the rear window washer nozzle Nissan X-Trail

Note:

To supply windshield washer fluid to the windshield of the car,  2  front washer nozzles are used. They are installed on the ventilation grille and have  2 nozzles each. There is also  1 nozzle  at the top of the Nissan X-Trail tailgate that supplies fluid to the rear window.

Replacing the rear window washer nozzle Nissan X-Trail

1. Place the car on a level surface, and turn off the ignition.

2. Raise the tailgate.

3. Remove from the latches and remove the upper trim element of the tailgate.

4. Disconnect the hose from the Nissan X-Trail rear washer nozzle.

5. Press the latch and remove the nozzle from the door.

Note:

Alternatively, you can first depress the latch, pull out the nozzle and then disconnect the hose from it.

6. Replace the Nissan X-Trail rear washer nozzle with a new one.

7. Install a new nozzle in the reverse order of removal. 

8. Make sure that the stoppers of the Nissan X-Trail washer nozzle snapped into place and securely fixed it. 

9. If necessary, adjust the nozzle.
