  • You will need: keys "for 12", "for 14".
  • 1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.
  • 2. Remove the plug from the neck of the reservoir of the main brake cylinder.
  • 3. Pump out the old brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
  • 4. Squeeze the clamp of the wire block and disconnect the block from the brake fluid level sensor in the reservoir of the main brake cylinder.
  • 5. Turn off two nuts of fastening of two pipelines …
  • 6. ...and move the pipes aside.
  • USEFUL ADVICE
  • Plug the lines to prevent leakage of brake fluid.
  • 7. Turn away two nuts of fastening of the main cylinder to the case of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
  • 8. Remove the main brake cylinder in gathering with a tank.
  • 9. If you removed the master brake cylinder for replacement, remove the reservoir and move it to the new cylinder (see "Replacing the Master Brake Cylinder Reservoir").
  • 10. Pry and remove the O-ring.
  • 11. Install a new cylinder o-ring.
  • 12. Install the main brake cylinder in the reverse order of removal, fill in the brake fluid and remove air from the system (see "Bleeding the brake system hydraulic drive").
