Replacing lamps in license plate lights Mitsubishi Outlander 2007 - 2010, XL

To replace the lamps in the Mitsubishi Outlander license plate lights, do the following:

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Move the lantern to the left.

3. Overcoming the resistance of the spring clip, remove it from the hole in the tailgate.

4. Squeeze the retainer of the Mitsubishi Outlander license plate light.

5. Remove the cover.

6. Grasp the lamp bulb.

7. Remove the baseless license plate light bulb from the lamp.

8. Install a new Mitsubishi Outlander room lamp in the reverse order of removal.

9. Replace the bulb in the other license plate light in the same way.
