Nissan Note 2004 - 2012 Tailgate Exterior Handle Replacement

Note:

In order to gain access to the rear door outside handle, you must first remove the rear door trim.

Removing the upholstery of the rear door Nissan Note

1. Raise the glass to its highest position and open the rear door.

2.  Insert a special remover into a gap between a door upholstery and a socket of the window regulator handle.

3.  Pressing the puller on the ends of the spring retainer, remove the retainer.

4.  Remove the rear power window handle.

5.  Remove the rear power window handle socket.

6.  Use a flat screwdriver to pry off the decorative plug of the door upholstery fastening screw in the armrest niche and remove the plug.

7.  Unscrew the fastening screw and remove the lining of the armrest niche.

8.  Pry with a screwdriver and remove the lining of the inner door handle.

9.  Pulling the upholstery out of the plastic holders, remove the Nissan Note back door upholstery.

10.  Grab the file and remove the door trim.

11.  Turn out 2 screws and remove the amplifier of an upholstery of a back door.

12.  Peel off the moisture-proof film from the inner door panel, leading the wire harness through the hole in the film.

Replacing the outside handle of the rear door Nissan Note

1. Pull the cable sheath out of the groove in the outer rear handle housing.

2.  Disconnect the tip of the cable from the outside door handle lever of the Nissan Note.

3. Pry with a screwdriver and remove the decorative plug of the screw securing the insert of the outer door handle.

4. Use a T30 socket to remove the door handle screw.

5. Remove the outer rear handle insert.

6. Move the handle in the direction of the arrow. Remove the right end of the rear handle from the lock lever.

7.  Remove the left end of the handle from the hole and remove the Nissan Note door handle.

8. Remove the rear handle seals.

9. Remove the handle bracket.

10. Replace Nissan Note tailgate exterior handle with a new one.

11. Establish  the external handle of a back door in an order, the return to removal.

12. Establish back an upholstery of a back door.
