Notes:
The article describes the process of replacing the front door window regulator. Removing and installing the rear window lifter is not fundamentally different.
Front door window regulator diagram
1 . Remove the door trim. Disconnect electrical plug connections. The process of removing the skin is described in detail in this article.
2. Remove the power window frame from the door, refer to the appropriate section .
3 . If you plan to leave the glass / frame, then put a new window lifter on them.
4 . Lower the glass ( 4 ) down.
5. Turn out bolts ( 5 ) and remove glass from window lifter ( 2 ).
6. Remove the bolts ( 3 ) and remove the power window ( 2 ) from the window frame ( 1 ).
7. You can install and try the power window motor to see if it works. Then remove it to put the foam rubber.
8. To install the rear door power window, fix the power window to the window frame with a torque of 6 Nm. When doing this, make sure that both guide rails (arrow A ) run parallel to the guide (arrow B ).
9. Insert the glass into the power window and hand-tighten the bolts ( 5 ).
10 . Install the noise insulation in place, put the motor and speaker back (it also needs to be removed).
11 . Install plastic protection. Put it on top and hammer it into place.
12 . Install the door trim and secure it with bolts.
