Replacing the fuel filter Renault Duster

On vehicles with 1.6 and 2.0 engines, fuel modules with an integrated fuel filter are installed, the replacement of which is not provided by the manufacturer.
On a car with a 2.0 engine, a fuel filter is additionally installed in the engine compartment, which, in accordance with the maintenance regulations, must be changed every 120 thousand
kilometers.
The fuel filter is installed in the engine compartment on the right side.
The fuel in the power system is under pressure.
Therefore, before servicing the fuel system, it is necessary to relieve fuel pressure.

Raise the fuel tank cap.

Using a flathead screwdriver, pry out the retainer of the wire block ...

... and disconnect the block from the fuel module cover connector.
We start the engine and let it idle until it stops due to running out of fuel.
Then we turn on the starter for 2–3 s.
After that, the pressure in the fuel system will be relieved.

By pressing a screwdriver on the latch of the tube tip ...

... remove the tip of the outlet tube from the filter fitting.

Similarly, remove the tip of the inlet pipe from the filter fitting.

Using the “10” head, loosen the filter clamp bolt.

Take the filter out of the clamp.
Since fuel remains in the filter, we drain it into a previously prepared container.
Install the new fuel filter in reverse order.
