According to the established tradition, I decided to paint the calipers and drums, and according to the same tradition, in blue (or blue) color ... why exactly in this color, I probably can’t really explain ... it’s just that the car before last was blue, and on it I painted the calipers on the first one I liked this color ... I liked it (and not only me), and since then I have been painting with this color, and with the same paint (checked, it doesn’t peel off, the color doesn’t change) let’s get down to business ... you will need some tools and materials.

I forgot to take a picture, I'll add it to the text.
1) Heat Resistant Brake Paint... I've been using motip paint for the first time and I'm very happy with the result.
2) Rust converter.
3) Thinner (for degreasing.
4) Metal brush, sandpaper (for which, I think it’s understandable.
5) Masking tape
6) Several newspapers (not at all for reading).
7) Keys for 12 and 18, and torx to unscrew the rear drum (I don’t remember which one, I’ll add it later).
8) Jack and wrench to remove the wheels.
9) Marker.
10) File.
11) Preferably a compressor, blow out the brakes (especially the rear ones)
the process itself … we remove the wheels, disassemble the calipers, and remove the rear drums … we mark the location of the pads and rear drums with a marker (since they have already managed to get used).

We carefully clean the calipers and drums, remove the chamfer on the drums with a file (if it is sometimes not removed, after a certain run, it can really interfere with removing the drum ... tested on more than one car ...

We process with a rust converter, degrease, cover with masking tape and newspapers the places that we do not want to paint ... paint ... wait until it dries.

We remove masking tape and newspapers, and put all the details in their original places ...
we admire the result.
