In order to prevent a sudden failure of the engine power system, at each maintenance, carefully check the condition of all pressure fuel lines, their connections and attachment points to the bottom of the vehicle. Replace fuel lines with new ones if there is the slightest doubt about their suitability.
Check the tightness by external inspection:
- from the bottom of the car (on a lift or inspection ditch);
- inside the car;
- from under the hood.

1. Inspect the connections of the fuel lines with the fuel fine filter ...

2. ... the connections of the air outlet hose ...

3. ... the filler hose and the vapor outlet pipe.
4. Check the fastening of the pipelines ...

5. ... and steam pipes in holders. Loose or broken holders lead to vibration and, as a result, to breakage of pipelines. Replace damaged fuel lines if cracked, frayed, or leaking fuel is found. Replace damaged fasteners.

6. Remove the hatch of the fuel pump module and check the tightness of the connections marked with arrows. If fuel leaks are found, replace the hose end o-rings.

7. Inspect in the engine compartment on both sides of the connection of the flexible hose with the fuel lines ...

8. ... and the fuel lines with the fuel rail.

9. Check the tightness of the Schrader valve to measure the pressure in the fuel rail. If fuel leakage is detected, replace the spool in the valve.
