Note:
Checking and adjusting the headlights on the Nissan Note is carried out on a car with a fully filled fuel tank, a set of tools and a spare wheel.
The way to adjust the headlights on a Nissan Note using a marked screen is only suitable if your car has halogen bulbs. To adjust the headlights with gas discharge lamps, we recommend contacting a specialized service that has optical stands.
The location of the headlight adjustment screws Nissan Note
- A - alignment of the angle of inclination of the light beam along the horizon;
- B - adjustment screw in the horizontal plane;
- B - adjustment screw in the vertical plane.
The procedure for adjusting the headlights on the Nissan Note
1. Check and, if necessary, correct the air pressure in the tires.
2. Place the vehicle perpendicular to a flat wall at a distance of 3 m. Place a load of 75 kg on the driver's seat.
3. Mark the screen on the wall as shown. The longitudinal plane of symmetry of the car must pass along line 0 on the screen. Rock the car from the side so that the suspension springs self-adjust.
4. On the vehicle, measure the height of the headlight centers from the ground (distance h on the screen).
5. On the instrument panel, set the headlight dimmer control to the position that corresponds to the load of the car with one driver.
6. Turn on the low beam Nissan Note.
Note:
Adjust the direction of the light spot on each headlight one by one. Cover the second headlight with an opaque material during adjustment.
7. If the location of the light spots does not match the figure, lift the hood cover.
8. Turn adjusting screws A and B to first adjust the position on the light spot screen for each headlight horizontally.
9. Turning the adjusting screw B with a hexagon, adjust the headlights on the Nissan Note vertically.
Note:
The headlights are considered to be adjusted correctly when the upper borders of the left parts of the light spots coincide with line 4, and the vertical lines 1 and 2 pass through the points E1 and E2 of the intersection of the horizontal and inclined sections of the light spots.
