Caliper repair. Front wheel brake type FS II

Tools:

• Screw jack or rolling jack
• balloon wrench
• Screwdriver flat medium
• Torx wrench (star) T30
• Key with Torx tip (asterisk) Т45
• Rubber bulb or syringe 20 ml
• Metal brush
• Wooden or plastic spatula
• Compressor

Parts and consumables:

• Caliper protective cap (if necessary)
• Caliper assembly (if necessary)
• Guide grease G 052 150 A2
• Brake fluid (if necessary)
• Alcohol
• Aerosol lubricant type WD-40 (if necessary)
• graphite lubricant

Details of brake caliper type FS II:

1 - protective cover;

2 - piston;

3 - support;

4 - air release valve;

5 - protective cap of the valve;

6  - spacer sleeve;

7 - top sleeve;

8 - rubber bushing;

9 - caliper cylinder;

10 - sealing ring.

The brake caliper type FS II (see Fig. Details of the brake caliper type FS II) is repaired in the same way as the brake caliper type FS III .
