Instruments:
- Ratchet wrench
- Head 10 mm
Parts and consumables:
- Decorative engine cover (0137.A5 - for 4B12 engine or 0137.A0 - for 4HN engine, if necessary)
Notes:
To improve the appearance of the engine compartment and reduce the noise level, a decorative plastic casing is installed on the Peugeot 4007 engine. For most engine repairs and maintenance, this cover must be removed.
1. You need to know how to open the Peugeot 4007 hood. To do this, pull the hood lock drive handle towards you.
2. Move the lever and remove the safety hook from the latch (for clarity, shown with the hood open).
3. Lift a cowl, take an emphasis from a clamp and establish a cowl on an emphasis.
4. Carefully remove the 4HN motor trim by pulling it up.
Note:
If the car is equipped with a 4V12 engine, unscrew the two screws securing the decorative casing to the engine with a 10 mm head and remove it.
5. Install the engine cover in the reverse order of removal.
