Removal and installation of the inlet resonator Hyundai Solaris

Instruments:

• Straight box wrench 10 mm
• Phillips screwdriver, medium
• Screwdriver flat medium

Parts and consumables:

• Intake resonator (if needed) (28190-1R000)

Note:

This article describes how to remove the Solaris air filter resonator.

1. Remove the front bumper as described in this article .

2. Disconnect the wire from the retainer on the resonator housing.

3. Turn off from above two bolts of fastening of the resonator.

4. Under the car unscrew one more bolt of fastening of an inlet resonator.

Bottom mount resonator Hyundai Solaris.

5. Disconnect the air filter housing from the resonator (for clarity, the front left headlight is removed).

Note:

If necessary, remove the headlight as described in this article .

6. From the bottom of the car, disconnect the air duct from the intake resonator and remove the Solaris resonator.

7. Install the Solaris air resonator and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
