Removing the front fender liner (locker) Peugeot 207

Tools:

• Wheel chock (shoe)
• screw jack
• balloon wrench
• car stand
• Screwdriver flat medium
• Pliers

Parts and consumables:

• Right front fender liner (PSA 7136.Y7)
• Left front fender liner (PSA 7136.Y6)

Notes:

The front wheel arches are fitted with plastic fenders that protect the body from the abrasive effects of sand and stones thrown by the wheels.​

The process of removing the front fender liner is shown on the right front wheel. The right and left fender liner Peugeot 207 are replaced in the same way.

1. Brake the Peugeot 207 car with a parking brake and install wheel chocks (shoes) under the rear wheels of the car.

2. Loosen the front wheel bolts. Jack up the front of the vehicle and securely jack stands under it.

Note:

Install the jack in a special, persistent socket located in the front of the car.

Useful advice:

When installing the jack, be careful not to damage the mudguards under the engine. Ensure that the jack is installed in such a way that the car cannot slide off it. Always use coasters.

3. Remove the front wheel mounting bolts.

4. Remove the front wheel.

5. Wring out the right internal screw of fastening of a fender liner.

6. Wring out and remove the left rivet of internal fastening of a fender liner.

7. Wring out the bottom screw of fastening of a fender liner to a car body.

8. Wring out and remove a rivet of the top fastening of a fender liner to a car body.

9. Wring out the top screw of fastening of a fender liner to a forward bumper.

10. Wring out and remove the two lower rivets securing the fender liner to the front bumper of the car.

11. Carefully remove the fender liner from the clips, starting from the lower left side.

Removing the left lower part of the fender liner from the latches.

Removing the left upper part of the fender liner from the latches.

Removing from the latches the upper part of the fender liner

Removing the upper right part of the fender liner from the latches

Removing the fender liner from the right lower latches and detaching the fender liner from the vehicle.

Removed right front fender.

12.  Install the new fender liner in the reverse order of removal.

New right front fender liner (PSA 7136.Y7).

New left front fender liner (PSA 7136.Y6).
